Complete a dilapidation survey, to capture pre-work condition of the façade elements.
Ensure secure fixing during removal & reinstatement of any façade elements:
•Do not replace screws using the same fastener & hole.
•Replace with the fastener with the next larger gauge.
•If possible, use additional fixings to secure.
•If necessary, install new sections of subframing (eg top hats)
Ensure safety & secure fixing during removal & reinstatement of any façade elements :
•Full SWMS to be developed, reviewed and approved, ensuring all risks are controlled to ensure elements cannot fall during removal or reinstatement.
•Ensure that Onsite’s approved procedure & manufacturer’s instructions are followed.
Inform the Project Manager of any changed information (such as fastener specification) that should be recorded on as-built shop drawings &/or in the building’s Operations and Maintenance Manual.
